There are two reasons why I finish reading a book I hate. I either want to say a massive fuck you to it, as in the case of Atlas Shrugged which annoyed me so much I had to finish it out of spite for the book, or I want to be able to say exactly why I didn’t like it without people telling me my opinion doesn’t count because I didn’t see it through to the end. This is the case with Dune.
